Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver inkstand, of rounded rectangular form with gadroon border detail and raised on four tapering bracket feet, the centre fitted with two oval hinge lidded inkwells, each with a clear glass liner, and pen recess on either side. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman), London 1898. Stand measures 22.2cm by 14.7cm, weight excluding glass liners 22.75ozt (707.7g).
