An early George III silver christening mug, of baluster form to a spread footed base, the body monogram engraved with foliate capped double scroll handle. Hallmarked Walter Brind, London 1769. Height to rim, 7.5cm, weight 3.63ozt (112.8g).

- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use
- Showing a couple of bashes around the rim and some further dints to the body, especially around the bellied section
- A couple of slight knocks to the foot rim
- Hallmarks located to the base and scattered in a group; marks a little rubbed and punches blackened with dirt and dried polish residues, but all still legible
