A mid-Victorian silver christening mug, the baluster shape body with engraved floral panels either side of a monogrammed and dated cartouche, with double scroll handle and raised on foliate scroll feet. Hallmarked William Hunter, London 1854. Height to handle 11cm, weight 4.79ozt (149g).

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use
- With some patches of heavier tarnishing, also some blackening and dried polish residues to some areas and crevices, especially on the handle
- Small dint to the lower body, just below the handle to one side
- Further minor surface nicks/dints
- Blob of solder visible to one side of the upper join of the handle
- Wobbles very slightly, one foot appears a little higher
- Hallmarks located to the base, all legible with minor rubbing
