Full Lot Description
A late 19th century Arts & Crafts silver teapot, of compressed globular shape above a stepped foot, with spot-hammered decoration and stained wood handle, and inset, slightly domed hinged lid with conforming wood finial. Hallmarked Birmingham Guild of Handicraft Ltd., Birmingham 1899. Approximate length handle to spout 20.5cm, and height to finial 12cm, gross weight 12.81ozt (398.4g).

Condition Report
- With some heavy tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, and scratches, commensurate with age and use
- A few small dints to the bulbous body
- Some little nicks and dints around the edge and tip of the spout
- Blobs of solder around the lower handle join
- Hinged lid appears in good working order and closes flush; with heavy staining inside
- Hallmarks located to the base with part marks to the lid, punches a little blackened with residues, but all marks still clearly legible
