Condition Report

A 9ct gold amethyst and split pearl brooch, comprising a central oval amethyst in a collet setting bordered with eight further amethysts, split pearl detail and outer curved border. Dimensions of brooch: 32mm x 30mm. Hallmarked London 1971.

Purchasing information
    The brooch is in very good condition commensurate with age and use displaying minor scratches and marks along with more general tarnishing and discolouration. The amethysts are pleasing colour and are nice and bright. All split pearls are present, some may have been replaced at an previous date. Brooch fitting is tight and secure. Hallmark is clear and legible.
