Condition Report

A Victorian silver christening mug with engraved ivy garlands, raised frieze and pierced foot ring, to the scrolling foliate and angular handle, together with an early twentieth century christening mug of tapered form. Hallmarked London 1879 and Birmingham 1912. Heights 3 7/8 and 2 1/2 inches (9.8 and 6.4 cm), gross weight 5.41 ozt (168.2 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Wear to both sets of the maker's marks and hallmarks. Numerous small dents to the Victorian mug, monogrammed with Gothic KWK. Slightly fewer dents to the later mug, monogrammed AKK, with date Sep't 13 1913.
