Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The pins to the 9ct gold brooches are base metal replacements. The pin to the 15ct gold brooch is stamped 15ct but indistinct. The amethysts are a light to medium purple with fairly good saturation, some show typical colour zoning. The split pearls are well matched to each brooch, with one showing silvery discolouration due to age and possible replacements. The paste shows some remaining backing, and is at an angle in the setting. One stamped 9ct. Split pearls untested for natural origin. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones.
