Condition Report

A late 19th century silver and diamond dress ring. Of openwork design, the rose-cut diamond, within a similarly-cut diamond heart-shape scrolling surround, to the rose-cut diamond foliate panel and replacement Russian band. Approximate total spread of rose-cut diamonds 1.70cts. Replacement band with Kokoshnik marks. Weight 8.6gms.

    Overall condition good. Diamonds bright and well matched. Evidence of alteration to band. The Russian band is replacement. Based on the surface spread alone of the diamonds, they appear to occupy the same surface space as diamonds with an estimated total weight of 1.70cts, please note this estimated weight does not reflect the true weight of the diamonds in any way.
