Condition Report

A mid 20th century 9ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, to the grooved shoulders and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 0.30ct, H-I colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1946. Weight 1.8gms.

    Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Evidence of resizing. Diamond fairly bright. Diamond assessed within the limits of the mount. Large scattered dark coloured inclusions, located at the edge of the table and towards the girdle, alongside further scattered inclusions, easily visible under magnification. Diamond in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring size L1/2.
