A mid 20th century 9ct gold snake necklace. The engraved head and tail, with ruby eyes, to the coiled spring body and concealed clasp. Maker's mark for Smith & Pepper. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1959. Approximate length at rest 37cms. Weight 29.8gms.

Overall condition good, light scratches, minor discolouration and dents in keeping with general wear. Dimple to bottom of head part of the design. Some jeweller's scratches to bottom of head.
