Condition Report

ROLEX - a watch head. Import London hallmarked 1917. Numbered 801968. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Silver case. 26mm. Together with a white metal watch head stamped 925.

  • Movement is not currently functioning.
  • Movement is in a poor condition with noticeable signs of rust.
  • Dial appears to be in a very poor condition, none of the original detail is legible.
  • Hour and minute hands are missing. Remaining secondsa hand shows marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass is missing
  • Case shows scratches, marks, dint and visible tarnishing.
  • Crown is missing. Silver watch head
  • Movement is not currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks and scratches, some lifting of the laminate visible to the naked eye.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Hands are of differing appearance indicating that one is a later replacement.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches as well as noticeable wear to the plating. This lot does not come with box or papers.
