Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond and emerald brooch. The old-cut diamond line, with rectangular-shape emerald double spacers and grain settings. One emerald deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 6.3cms. Weight 4.5gms.

    The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. General slight discolouration. One emerald deficient. Glue visible to vacant mount. Three emeralds with noticeable chips. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The emeralds are a well matched vibrant slightly bluish green hue. Typical inclusions. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Small chip to one diamond, a nick to another diamond. The brooch is very slightly bent/curved. The pin shows small dents.
