Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold split pearl brooch and a clasp. The 18ct gold split pearl scrolling foliate brooch, together with a gold split pearl clasp. One split pearl deficient. Lengths 4.7 to 1.8cms. Total weight 7.6gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The brooch pin is of a different colour of metal and may be a different fineness of gold. The split pearls are well matched to each item. The brooch has silvery-grey split pearls, the clasp has creamy yellowish split pearls. The clasp operates but with difficulty. Brooch stamped 18ct. split pearls untested for natural origin.
