Condition Report

J. W. BENSON - a lady's bracelet watch. Import hallmarked Glasgow. Unsigned manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers. 9ct yellow gold case fitted to an unsigned yellow metal bracelet with bi-colour folding clasp. 26mm.

Purchasing information
  • The wind movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement seems to have medium scratches and tarnishing, consistent with general usage.
  • Dial seems to have heavy discolouration, tarnishing and pitting.
  • Hands appear to display rust alond with light scratches and tarnishing.
  • Case appears to have medium scuffs and scratches, the majority of which should polish out, heavy tarnishing and a crack to the edge of the case.
  • Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which is lightly scratched.
  • Crown appears to have been replaced and has medium scratches and tarnishing.
  • Case back seems to have light scratches, which should polish out, and an imprint of a box.
  • Bracelet appears to have several scratches and scuffs with large areas of tarnishing and chips to several of the links.
  • Clasp appears to have medium scratches and tarnishing.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 16cm including the case.
