An early Victorian Irish silver milk jug.

Condition Report

An early Victorian Irish silver milk jug, of grooved baluster or melon form, raised on four scrolling foliate feet and scrolling foliate and shell accent skirt, with similarly designed scalloped rim and foliate handle. Together with a 1940's silver dessert fork. Jug hallmarked Robert W Smith, Dublin 1840. Height of jug 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 9.09 ozt (282.7 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    Good to fair overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Fork with obvious dents and bends and abrasion, discolouration. The jug has small dents to the raised areas. Noticeable tarnish and cleaning product residue. One foot with slight dent.
