Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold aquamarine and seed pearl pendant. The circular-shape aquamarine, suspending a seed pearl quatrefoil bar, to the pear-shape aquamarine drop, suspended from a fine belcher-link chain. Length of pendant 4cms. Length of chain 41cms. Weight 2.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to poor. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The seed pearls slightly vary in shade a couple have a slightly more grey body colour.
  • Aquamarine light blue, fairly weak saturation of colour, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Pear shape stone in poor condition with a significant chip and crack to the tip, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Pendant stamped 15ct. Chain clasp stamped 9ct. Possible replacement clasp.
