Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Chronomat chronograph wrist watch. Reference B13048, serial 1-23257. Signed automatic movement. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Calibrated bezel, stainless steel case fitted to a signed brown leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 38mm. Box.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. There is a small mark above the Breitling symbol on the dial.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Bezel appears to be functioning but is missing one of the calibrated tabs.
  • Crown is not currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Crown can not be used to change the date or wind the hands correctly.
  • Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot comes with a box in used condition but no papers.
