Condition Report

An early 19th century 18ct gold enamel memorial ring. The woven hair panel to the split-pearl surround to the blue and white enamel band and personal engraving to the reverse. Hallmark for London, 1830. Ring size Q. Weight 3.9gms.

Purchasing information
    The overall condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scratches and discolouration to the metal in keeping with age and wear. Enamel is deficient to the shoulders and to the centre of back of the band. Chip and scratches to the glass panel and dirt below panel. Inscription to reverse reads 'SH Obt March 8 1835 Aet 52'.
