Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold demantoid garnet, seed and split pearl pendant. The seed and split pearl flower, to the split pearl scrolling foliate and circular-shape demantoid garnet tendril panel, with split pearl surmount. Length 3.6cms. Weight 1.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Wear to the gilt finish.
  • Split pearls well matched with a creamy hue, some with moderate discolouration.
  • Seed pearl untested for natural origin.
  • Demantoid garnets a well matched yellowish green hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Seed pearl shows internal stresses.
