A late Victorian 15ct gold citrine and split pearl brooch, circa 1880. The graduated circular-shape citrine collet line, with split pearl accent scrolling sides. Length 3.7cms. Weight 4gms.

  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear.

  • Citrine medium dark slightly brownish-orange, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Citrine are in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Split pearls well matched.

  • Split pearls white, with pinkish overtones and fair lustre.

  • Split pearls in good condition with some minor abrasions.
