Condition Report

A George III pepperette, the cylindrical body embossed with swag and bows, hallmarked London 1788, height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm). Together with a pair of George III silver sugar tongs with acorn terminal grips, maker's mark IS, probably for John sidaway, a further pair of George III silver sugar tongs, George III silver sifter spoon and two silver napkin rings. Gross weight 6.5 ozt (203 grams). (5).

Purchasing information
    Condition varys, the lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Top of the pepper somewhat compressed. Hallmarks to the pepper worn. Maker's mark and lion passant only to acorn tongs. Remaining hallmarks overall are clearly legible.
