A George IV memorial ring. The central rectangular glazed panel, with circular-shape garnet surround to the forked acanthus shoulders and personal dedication to the reverse. Ring size Q. Weight 2.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is poor with heavy wear to the gems and glass and surface scratches and wear to the metal. The glass is almost opaque due to wear and this makes it difficult to establish whether there is a woven hair panel beneath, as we would usually expect to see in this type of piece. Dedication to reverse reads 'In Memory Of Ann Payne Obt 22 Nov 1824, At 73'.
