A selection of three gem-set brooches. To include a late 19th century 9ct gold hexagonal-shape amethyst and swallow brooch, a cultured pearl bar brooch, together with an early 20th century 9ct gold garnet and seed pearl foliate bar brooch. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898. Lengths 3.9 to 5cms. Total weight 11.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear.
- The amethyst brooch is likely to be a composite, using elements from the same period.
- Garnet brooch is discoloured and misshapen.
- One brooch stamped 750, one brooch stamped 9ct.
