Condition Report

An early 20th century gold, split pearl and coral pendant. The ovoid coral drop, suspended from a split pearl floral chevron and scrolling surmount. May be worn as a brooch. Length 4.4cms. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Coral patchy light pink, with whitish patches and some growth marks.

  • Split-pearls vary slightly in appearance, with white, creamy-white and silvery-grey colours, with good to fair lustre and obvious growth marks and other blemishes to some.
  • Adhesive visible around some split pearls.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
