Condition Report

A 1970s 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, within a similarly-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby double surround. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts, J-K colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1974. Ring size O. Weight 6.3gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The rubies have light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges.
  • The principal diamond is estimated 0.25ct, J-K colour, P2 clarity, with two large surface reaching inclusions..
  • The diamonds are drawing a slight yellow hue, with small central inclusions, some visible without magnification.
