(542940-1-A) An open face quarter repeater pocket watch by Contreau. Yellow metal case. Numbered 22457. Unsigned keyless wind Swiss bar movement with club tooth lever escapement and repeating complication. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, sunken subsidiary seconds dial to six. 51mm. 110gms.

Purchasing information- Movement is currently functioning.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
- Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.
- Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
- Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches.
- Case shows light scratches and marks.
- Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.Crown is currently detached from the movement and free floating, any pressure on the crown in an upward manner will cause it to be removed from the case. Whilst in situ the crown will still perform its function, however this will require attention to resolve.
- Pendant bow shows noticeable marks and scratches.
