Condition Report

A mid-Victorian three-piece silver tea set, of lobed bulbous form each having raised and engraved cartouche amidst engraved acanthus and flower head decoration, with foliate capped handles and each raised upon four scrolled feet. Hallmarked William Hunter, London 1850. Height of teapot measures 7 2/8 inches (18.5 cm), gross weight 40.67 ozt (1264.9 grams).

Purchasing information
    Each appears in overall fair condition although displaying few knocks and dents throughout. Teapot with large dent to lower body plus other small dints and knocks throughout, general light tarnishing and rubbing to surface and cover with few knocks to edge causing slight distortion. Sugar bowl and cream jug again each with small dents to body and general tarnishing and rubbing. Each with slight distortion or compression to feet and so do not stand firm. Hallmarks throughout are clear and legible.
