Condition Report

A pair of cultured pearl and enamel ear studs. Each designed as late 19th century cultured pearl and blue enamel clusters, to the later post fittings. Diameter 1.3cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Chips and damage visible to the enamel in places.
  • Back fittings added at a later date, soft solder visible to the reverse.
  • The cultured pearls are fairly well matched, blisters and blemishes visible to the nacre.
  • With fixed posts for pierced ears.

  • The screw-back fittings are bent.
  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
