Condition Report

A late Victorian 14ct gold split and seed pearl brooch. The split pearl accent twin hearts, with seed and split pearl crown surmount. Maker's marks for Krementz. Length 2.3cms. Weight 2.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Small dent to the reverse at the pin hinge.
  • Small scratches and marks through the gilt finish to the front of the hearts.
  • Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Split pearls well matched, appear a greyish hue. Seed pearls are a well matched pearly white hue.
  • Stamped 14k.
