An early Victorian gold gem-set brooch, circa 1840. The oval pink and blue foil-back gems, set within a foliate and scrolling panel, suspending a cultured pearl and double swag. AF. Length 4.5cms. Weight 10.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- One gemstone deficient.
- Cultured pearl is a replacement. Other gemstones possibly replacements.
- The reverse has a glazed panel compartment.
- Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
