A mid Victorian gold coral and split pearl pendant, circa 1870. The oval coral cabochon and split pearl cluster, within coral stylised foliate sides and split pearl stepped surrounds, suspended from a split pearl detachable surmount and later rolled-gold chain. AF. Length of pendant 6.1cms. Weight of pendant 13.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- One coral cabochon deficient.
- Coral untested for natural colour origin.
- Coral is a slightly mottled light pink and peach hue.
- Split pearls fairly well matched, some discolouration.
- Some possible replacement gems, glue visible to some mounts.

- Chain stamped 'rolled gold' to link enar the clasp.
- Chain links stretched, wear to gold coating.
