Condition Report

A Victorian silver ewer, the classic bellied form, lobed and engraved surrounding oval medallion panels, some florally embellished, standing on a similarly decorated foot and rising to the naturalistic fruiting vine handle and hinged cover. Hallmarked London 1862, the maker probably Henry Wilkinson & Co. Maximum height measuring 14 1/4 inches (36 cm), weight 27.7 ozt (864 grams).

Purchasing information
    The ewer displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Wobbles slightly and the body appears to lean just off-centre. two medallions are vacant. Minor dints and bumps. Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's marks somewhat worn.
