An early 20th century gold spinel and diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond, with an oval-shape red spinel openwork surround, on an old-cut diamond bar with cushion-shape spinel terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Length 5.3cms. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Evidence of repair to one of the diamond collets.
- Spinels medium slight orangish red, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Two diamonds with chips to facet edges.
