Condition Report

Two diamond and gem-set rings. To include an early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond point five-stone ring, together with a diamond, ruby and replacement labradorite five-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. One with hallmarks for Chester, 1919. Total weight 5.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One with replacement labradorite, glue visible to the mount, and replacement band.
  • Replacement band with file scratches and acid discolouration.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphires are a medium blue hue. Rubies are a deep, slightly purplish red hue.

  • Stones condition varies, rubies with significant abrasions.

  • Ring size K 1/2 and P.
