Condition Report

A pair of Edwardian 15ct gold amethyst earrings. Each designed as a circular-shape amethyst collet, suspended from an openwork bar spacer and circular-shape amethyst surmount. Length 2.5cms. Weight 3gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Approximate diameter of top collet 4mms.

  • Approximate diameter of drop collet 5mms.

  • Amethyst medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 15ct.
  • Jewellers inscriptions to side of bar spacers on both earrings.

  • With screw-back fittings.
