A pair of mid 19th century gold, chalcedony and turquoise foliate earrings. Each designed as a chalcedony tapered drop, with turquoise forget-me-not and cannetille girdle and similarly-set textured cap, suspended from a similarly-designed surmount. Turquoise clusters deficient. Length 7.8cms. Weight 22.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Two of the turquoise floral clusters are deficient to one of the earrings, discolouration and slight soft solder visible, one of the clusters to the other earring has one deficient
- Turquoise are a medium blue through slightly greenish blue hues.
- Chalcedony with typical inclusions.
- The girdles are loose to each earring.
- Glue visible to some fittings.
- Hook and clip fittings for pierced ears.
