A garnet memorial brooch. The abstract acanthus leaves with three oval-shape garnet cabochons set through the centre, suspending a herringbone chain with a heart-shape terminal, set with a further garnet to the front and a glazed woven hair panel to the reverse. Length 5.1cms. Weight 5.8gms.

The condition of this lot is good, with light wear to the metal and garnets in keeping with age. The pin is in good order. Garnets are well matched with deep translucent red appearance.
