A late Victorian 15ct gold sapphire brooch. The circular-shape pale yellow sapphire and oval-shape sapphire sides, with interwoven connecting bars. Length 5.2cms. Weight 9.7gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Wear to gilt metal finish.
- Some claws broken/worn, may require attention.
- Sapphires are a pale yellow and medium deep blue hues. Blue sapphires with noticeable colour zoning, moderate saturation, strong tone.
- Stones in good to fair condition with minor abrasions. Yellow sapphire with small nicks at the girdle.
- Estimated dimensions of yellow sapphire 8.8 by 5.8mms.
- Estimated dimensions of blue sapphires 8 by 6.2 by 3.5mms and 7.8 by 6.3 by 4mms.
- Stamped 15.
