A late 19th century gold banded agate and split pearl memorial pendant and chain. The fancy-link chain suspending an oval-shape black enamel pendant with a central banded agate cabochon with split pearl accents to the further circular black enamel drop set with a split pearl and suspending a further cultured pearl, to the glazed back with personal inscription. Length of chain 48cms. Length of pendant 6cms. Weight 20.1gms.

The condition of this lot is good, with light surface marks to the enamel, agate and metal in keeping with age and wear. The chain is stamped 9ct. The personal inscription to the reverse reads 'Cecilia Farrer died Jany 11th 1867 Aged 72'.
