Condition Report

A ceramic brooch and a late 19th century memorial brooch. The first of rectangular outline painted to depict a castle atop a hill, within a rope-twist border and applied scroll detail to the surround, the second designed as a central oval, woven hair panel, within a black enamel 'In memory of' surround to the outer scrolling border and personal inscription to the reverse. Lengths 4.7 and 5.8cms. Weight of second 22.9gms.
