Two 18ct gold Edwardian diamond and gem-set rings. Each designed as a rose-cut diamond and red-gem alternating line, with openwork gallery. AF. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1904 and 1907. Weight 4.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • One band significantly worn with sharpness to the edges.

  • One ring with centre stone deficient.

  • Diamonds well matched to each ring.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Red gems medium red, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
