Condition Report

An early 19th century gold, enamel and split pearl memorial brooch. Of oval outline, the blue enamel frame with gold star detail, to the glazed woven hair panel with applied monogram in split pearls, a glazed woven hair panel to the reverse with engraved surround. Can also be worn as a pendant. Length 4.3cms. Weight 12.7gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scuffs and scratches to the glass, enamel and gold in keeping with general wear and age. Some of the seed pearls to the monogram have become detached and are loose beneath the glass. To the back of the glass to the reverse, there are a few marks, this may be adhesive. There is a folding surmount loop to the top. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
