A 19th century gold mounted sardonyx cameo brooch. Carved to depict a gentleman in profile, believed to be Julius Caesar, with rope-twist and engraved Greek-Key surround. Length 4.8cms. Weight 18.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Agate has some natural fissures to either side of the oval.
