Condition Report

A George III gold and garnet memorial ring. The cushion shape central glazed panel containing hair, with a border of faceted garnets and a tapered band of further garnets, a personal engraving to the reverse. Ring size Q. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is fair. The garnets are very dark and opaque in appearance and have general signs of wear associated with age. The glass is scratched and pitted. The internal inscription reads 'John Dunn, Obt Mar 5 1814 at 55'.
