An early 20th century gold cultured pearl locket. The cultured pearl, with heart-shape surround, suspended from a loop surmount and fancy-link chain. Length of locket 3.9cms. Length of chain 44cms. Total weight 14.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
- Locket tests as 18ct gold, chain is stamped for 9ct gold.
- Cultured pearl is a creamy white hue with iridescent overtones.
- Cultured pearl is in good condition with some minor cracks to nacre.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
