Condition Report

GARRARD & CO. - an 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with brilliant-cut diamond surround and similarly-cut diamond accent openwork shoulders. Signed G&Co. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 8.9 by 7.1 by 4mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Hallmarks for London, 1992. Ring size L1/2. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched and bright with minor inclusions only.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphire has a slightly dark, deep slightly violetish blue hue. Good clarity with few, small, typical inclusions. Sapphire has slight colour zoning visible under magnification or strong light and has minor window effect.
  • Sapphire in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Stamped 750.
