Condition Report
A late Victorian 18ct gold gem-set snake necklace. The garnet and split pearl heart, suspended from a textured snake head with garnet cabochon eyes and garnet and split pearl crest, to the graduated snake-link chain. Length 42cms. Weight 19.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Heart-shape pendant with glazed panel to reverse.
- Evidence of alterations to chain, soft solder visible.
- Some gems possible replacements.
- Garnets are well matched, medium purplish-pink hue, in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Split pearls are in good condition.
