A set of mid Victorian emerald, peridot and split pearl jewellery. The brooch designed as a shield, with vari-shape peridot and split pearl central raised panel, within a cannetille border, suspending a graduated series of tassel drops, together with a pair of similarly-designed emerald and split pearl earrings. Length of brooch 8cms. Length of earrings 6cms. Total weight 26.6gms. With fitted case.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Brooch with hook surmount may be worn as a pendant.
- Tassels with discolouration and blemishes.
- Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient/worn.
- With some possible replacement stones.
- Brooch with glazed panel reverse.
- Peridot are a pale green, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, doubling of facets.
- Peridot are in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Emerald are a medium green, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, possibly surface reaching.
- Emerald are in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- The split pearls, in good condition, have not been tested for natural origin.
- With fixed posts for pierced ears.
