Condition Report

ALGERNON ASPREY - a rare vintage whale skin briefcase. Believed to be 1970s, crafted from black whale skin, featuring gold-tone hardware, a reinforced leather top handle, dual combination locks, and two applied coins at the centre detailing Hooper & Co and Rolls Royce. Measuring 7.5 by 31.5 by 43cms.

Purchasing information
    The briefcase is in fair overall condition with wear consistent with its age. The exterior leather is in fair to good condition with two areas where the stitching has broken at the base of each side, a scattering of light scuffs and scratches overall with wear to all edges and corners. The handle is in poor condition with several rips and tears to the leather. The metalwork and fastenings gold-tone plating has worn off in areas from use. One of the base suds is missing from the bag. The interior is in fair to poor overall condition with several large ink marks to the suede. Without dust bag. This item may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
