Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Air King bracelet watch. Circa 1969. Stainless steel case. Reference 5500, serial 2797762. Signed automatic calibre 1520. Silvered dial with baton hour markers. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 35mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet is in a poor condition, with heavy wear and signs of stretching, twisting or distortion of the links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 18.5cm including case.
